PIMPON

Mixed Breed · Male · Young · 2 years

PIMPON - a kitten found on Otroczynska street. It arrived at the animal shelter with its mother and siblings for treatment. Little PIMPON uses the litter box. It needs time to adjust. When adopting a kitten, remember that, contrary to popular belief, raising such a small animal is not at all the easiest. We do not recommend adopting kittens to homes with small children. Kittens are just learning how hard they can use their claws and teeth, which often results in scratches and bites. This is the most common reason for returns from adoption. In the case of such young animals, you must be prepared to learn everything from the basics. Kittens are exceptionally energetic and can damage furniture, curtains, and more. Remember that a cat can live up to 20 years, so when you take a kitten, you must be prepared to be responsible for it for a very long time. Kittens usually instinctively use the litter box, but it's important to remember that in some cases, you may need to work on litter box training. Keep in mind that kittens, due to their lack of full vaccinations, are the highest risk group - they can fall ill, and the initial symptoms of the illness may be non-existent. Date of birth: ~04.2026 We inform you that each animal can be adopted virtually. To obtain information about this, please contact us by email (or through our Facebook profile:). For more information about the animal, contact the animal shelter office at our area. For adoption of a dog, a driver's license and leash are required. For adoption of a cat, a driver's license and a carrier are required. All dogs and cats are microchipped, neutered, and vaccinated against contagious diseases. Dogs are also vaccinated against rabies. Adult animals can be placed in a new home after the neutering/spaying procedure. Kittens and puppies leave the animal shelter without the procedure, but they are guaranteed a free spaying/neutering at the appropriate age. The age of the dog/cat is determined based on the condition of the teeth and overall appearance, so it should be considered an approximate value. Adoption IS FREE OF CHARGE. THERE IS THE POSSIBILITY OF TRANSPORT - WARSAW, CRACOW, WROCLAW, POZNAŃ, KATOWICE, ŁÓDŹ, LUBLIN or other cities upon agreement. PIMPON - kociątko znalezione na ul. Otrocz. Trafiły do schroniska razem z mamą i rodzeństwem na leczeniem. Maluszek korzysta z kuwety. About PIMPON

What life with PIMPON looks like

PIMPON is a small young adult mixed breed cat waiting at Fundacja Puszatek in Warszawa.

An adult cat usually shows their personality within a week. Give them a quiet room with everything they need (food, water, litter, hiding spot) and let them choose when to explore. Don't force interaction — every cat decides for themselves when a new home counts as home.

🇵🇱Adopting from Poland

Polish shelters maintain established transport routes to Germany, Netherlands, Austria, and Sweden. Animals leave sterilized and chipped. Adoption fees are typically lower than in Western Europe (often €50–€150) but adopters cover transport.

Frequently asked

Adopting PIMPON, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about PIMPON?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Fundacja Puszatek handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw PIMPON on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt PIMPON if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Fundacja Puszatek will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is PIMPON already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if PIMPON isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Fundacja Puszatek early rather than rehoming privately; they know PIMPON and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (PL). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
