Pina

Female · Puppy · 8 months

Pina, a spirited, playful, and full of ideas. Not always good, but improving. She is looking for someone to fall for her and completely rewrite his life plan. Pina will teach her person to dance in the rain and rejoice in the little things - she will become the main choreographer of his life. And it will be a dance! Pina is a young, not even one-year-old crossbreed. We estimate that she has Dutch shepherd and molosser or bulldog in her blood. So a girl who is destined for work and activity, but also for unconditional and never-ending love and protection of her person. So far, she has been dancing through life without rules, but she hasn't had time to get messed up and is ready to start training according to the pattern. She learns beautifully, is extremely motivable by food, malleable. She wants to be a good girl, wants to be accepted and appreciated. She is making huge progress and will be a top dog in the right hands. In the wrong hands, however, she would soon fall apart. Pina is looking for someone who already has experience with dogs, training management of solitude, positive training, and similar matters. She is not a dog for beginners, for seniors or for families with young children - she needs to be given a lot of attention now, and besides, she is a bit clumsy tank at the moment. Pina will enjoy dog school, socialization walks and big trips. She will like to engage with her person in some activity, whether with her head or her body. And after a well-spent day, she will rest contentedly at his feet. Pina will certainly get used to living with a balanced and castrated dog brother after responsible introduction. We have not tested other animals. Pina is vaccinated, chipped and treated against external and internal parasites. A condition for adoption is her castration after acclimatization in the new home. If you are interested in adopting her, please write to us about your dog experiences, about the dogs you have had or have, about their natures, solved and unsolved problems. It is also important the human composition of the new home, other animals and the environment that will be waiting for her at your place. We will be happy to receive attached photographs from these areas. We are looking forward to it. Thank you to Radek Havlíček, vividfoto.cz for the photos.

CS·Show original

Pina, temperamentní, rozverná, hravá a plná nápadů. A bude to teda tanec! Pinuška je mladičká, ani ne roční kříženka. Odhadujeme v její krvi holandského ovčáka a molosse či bulla.

About Pina

What life with Pina looks like

Pina is a medium-sized puppy dog waiting at Útulek Tábor in Czech Republic.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇨🇿Adopting from Czech Republic

Czech shelters (útulky) include sterilization, vaccinations, and microchip ID. The adopter signs a written contract (smlouva) — the shelter may follow up to verify wellbeing.

Frequently asked

Adopting Pina, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Pina?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Útulek Tábor handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Pina on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Pina if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Útulek Tábor will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Pina already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Pina isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Útulek Tábor early rather than rehoming privately; they know Pina and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (CS). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
