Pina Pina came to our shelter in July 2026 and is now living in a loving foster home. At 17 years old, Pina is already a very old lady - too old for the stressful shelter environment. We are very happy that we found a loving foster home for her where she can now settle in and be cared for in peace. Unfortunately, Pina came to us in a bad condition: she was undernourished, had a bladder/kidney infection and severely inflamed teeth. Now she is being painstakingly nursed back to health with a lot of patience and care. She has already had a good outcome from her first dental surgery - 22 teeth had to be removed. Unfortunately, another dental treatment is still pending. In addition, Pina needs special food and permanently expensive medication. The resulting food and veterinary costs represent a significant financial burden for us. We are therefore very grateful for any support for Pina's care. Pina Pina kam im Juli 2026 zu uns ins Tierheim und lebt inzwischen auf einer liebevollen Pflegestelle. Mit ihren 17 Jahren ist Pina bereits eine sehr alte Dame – zu alt für den stressigen Tierheimalltag. Umso glücklicher sind wir, dass wir für sie eine liebevolle Pflegestelle gefunden haben, auf der sie nun in Ruhe ankommen und versorgt werden kann. Leider kam Pina in keinem guten Zustand zu uns: Sie war unterernährt, hatte eine Blasen-/Nierenbeckenentzündung sowie stark vereiterte Zähne. Nun wird sie mit viel Geduld und Fürsorge mühsam aufgepäppelt. Ihre erste Zahn-OP hat sie bereits gut überstanden – dabei mussten ihr 22 Zähne entfernt werden. Eine weitere Zahnbehandlung steht leider noch bevor. Zusätzlich benötigt Pina spezielles Futter sowie dauerhaft teure Medikamente. Die dadurch entstehenden Futter- und Tierarztkosten stellen für uns eine große finanzielle Belastung dar. Wir freuen uns daher sehr über jede Unterstützung für Pinas Versorgung.
