adoption requirements adoption process Now request this animal! adoption requirements adoption process Now request this dog! Pinar has found her home! Her story: Pinar is an approximately 1-year-old female puppy who has already overcome many hurdles in her short life. While her sister Colada found her own family as a puppy, Pinar grew up together with her sister Pai in the shelter. Despite this challenging start, Pinar has developed into a beautiful, large female dog whose friendly and gentle nature immediately catches the eye. At first, Pinar was very shy when it came to interacting with people, but it is a great joy to see how she has blossomed over time. She enjoys company, seeks the closeness of people, and allows herself to be gently stroked on the head without a problem. Pinar enthusiastically gives kisses and shows her affection in a loving, charming way. Only when it comes to being touched on the body does she sometimes become a bit unsure: then she bounces around and quickly gives another kiss. Being with Pinar requires some empathy and patience to help her gain full trust and shed her small insecurities. With other dogs, Pinar shows herself to be completely uncomplicated and friendly. She enjoys the company of her fellow animals and lives harmoniously in the pack. We wish Pinar a loving home, preferably with a confident single dog where she can orient herself. Pinar is a large female dog, so people with space, a securely fenced garden, and a sense for gentle upbringing would be ideal. Life in a house, house training, and everyday routines must still be learned by Pinar. We are therefore looking for people who are willing to support an insecure young dog with patience, love, and understanding and who enjoy watching trust grow together. A foster home would also be a great help for her. Pinar is ready for the next step – security, care, and a real home. Who will open their heart for this wonderfully affectionate canine soul? If you fall in love with the sweet puppy and want to offer her an appropriate dog life, then contact us! After a positive assessment, Pinar would also be very happy with a foster home. We thank Nadine G. for choosing Pinar's name for her. As of: 29.12. This animal is vaccinated. This animal is microchipped.

Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt dieses Tier anfragen! Vermittlungsvoraussetzungen Vermittlungsablauf Jetzt diesen Hund anfragen! Stand: 29.12.2025

About Pinar

What life with Pinar looks like

Pinar is a extra-large young adult mixed breed dog waiting at Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. in München.

An young adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. A larger dog like this one needs daily off-leash time when possible — a fenced yard or regular access to safe walking trails. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Pinar, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Pinar?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Pinar on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Pinar if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Pinar already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Pinar isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Ein Herz für Streuner e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Pinar and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
