During our spaying/neutering campaign in March 2026, we had met this female dog and two of her daughters. Our partner Alessandra had managed to convince a shepherd that it was both important and beneficial to have the three females spayed. The original plan was for the shepherd to take his dogs back afterward. And indeed, that’s what happened—but then he changed his mind: he decided to keep one of the young female dogs. He wanted to give away the mother dog and the other daughter. Thus, the two female dogs came into the care of our partner. For Pinuccia, as the mother was called, and her daughter Pluma, this decision turned out to be a stroke of luck. Now, the two have the chance to start a new life—as family dogs with loving people. During our team project tour in mid-April 2026, we saw the two female dogs again. It made us very happy to see how well they had thrived during the past few weeks they’d already spent with our partner. Pinuccia and Pluma weren’t just in good shape; they also proved to be extremely affectionate, friendly, and people-oriented dogs. We now sincerely hope that the two will soon take the next step and begin their journey to Germany. There, they’ll find their dream homes with close-knit families who’ll welcome them with open arms. They needed a moment to build trust, but at our partner’s place, they’ve already learned that human closeness is something wonderful and that loving attention does them good. With a bit of patience and the occasional treat, the ice quickly broke, and both dogs allowed themselves to be gently petted. At our partner’s home, they’ve already gotten used to wearing harnesses, walking on leashes, and riding in cars. Pluma is a young, lively dog who loves nothing more than playing all day long and exploring the world. Her daughter Pinuccia is a bit calmer and shyer, but she happily joins in on games with her mom. Während unserer Kastrationsaktion im März 2026 hatten wir diese Hündin und zwei ihrer Töchter kennengelernt. Unsere Partnerin Alessandra hatte einen Schäfer überzeugen können, dass es wichtig und auch vorteilhaft wäre, die drei Hündinnen kastrieren zu lassen. Ursprünglicher Plan war, dass der Schäfer seine Hündinnen anschließend zurückhaben wollte. So geschah es auch, aber dann entschied er anders: Er wollte eines der Hundemädchen behalten. Die Hundemama und die weitere Tochter wollte er abgeben.So kamen also die beiden Hündinnen zu unserer Partnerin in Obhut. Für Pinuccia, wie die Mama genannt wurde, und ihre Tocher Pluma war diese Entscheidung großes Glück. Denn nun haben die beiden die Chance, in ein neues Leben zu starten – als Familienhunde bei lieben Menschen.Während unserer Team-Projekttour Mitte April 2026 sahen wir die beiden Hündinnen dann wieder. Es freute uns sehr zu sehen, wie gut ihnen die vergangenen Wochen, die sie schon bei unserer Partnerin verbringen durften, getan hatten. Pinuccia und Pluma waren nicht nur in gutem Zustand, sie zeigten sich auch als sehr liebenswerte, freundliche und menschenbezogene Hündinnen.Für die beiden wünschen wir uns nun sehr, dass sie bald den nächsten Schritt gehen und ihre Reise nach Deutschland antreten dürfen. Mit etwas Geduld und dem ein oder anderen Leckerchen war das Eis schnell gebrochen und beide ließen sich vorsichtig streicheln.Bei unserer Partnerin haben sie bereits Geschirr, Leine und Autofahrten kennengelernt. Pluma ist eine junge, lebhafte Hündin, die am liebsten den ganzen Tag spielen und die Welt entdecken möchte.
