Piper is about 2.5 years old, approximately 51 cm tall and weighs around 20 kg. The pretty female dog is currently waiting in Zalău for people to give her a loving home and accompany her safely through life. Before Piper was rescued, she lived on the streets in a city near Zalău. There she was spayed, regularly fed and cared for by people in the area. She had settled into her life and was loved by some residents. However, since free-roaming dogs are no longer tolerated, Piper also came into danger of being taken by the dog catchers to the public shelter. Fortunately, she was rescued in time and brought to safety. Piper shows herself as a friendly and open-minded dog who enjoys contact with people. She likes to be stroked, is attentive and especially enjoys small treats. She appears pleasant and approachable without pushing herself forward. Piper also already walks well on a leash. She takes an interest in new situations and gives the impression that she quickly finds her way with the right accompaniment. With her open and adaptable nature, she brings good conditions for settling into a new home. Piper is compatible with other dogs. Whether she could also live with cats has not been tested so far. Optically, Piper is a real eye-catcher with her black and white fur. The striking facial pattern, her warm amber eyes and the bushy tail make her unmistakable. Due to her appearance, she could have herding dog parts in her. However, since Piper is a mixed breed, possible breed parts and breed-typical characteristics cannot be determined with certainty. Piper ist etwa 2,5 Jahre alt, ca. 51 cm groß und wiegt rund 20 kg. Die hübsche Hündin wartet derzeit in Zalău auf Menschen, die ihr ein liebevolles Zuhause schenken und sie künftig sicher durchs Leben begleiten. Bevor Piper gerettet wurde, lebte sie in einer Stadt unweit von Zalău auf der Straße. Dort wurde sie von Menschen aus der Umgebung kastriert, regelmäßig gefüttert und umsorgt. Sie hatte sich ihr Leben eingerichtet und wurde von einigen Anwohnern ins Herz geschlossen. Doch da freilebende Hunde inzwischen nicht mehr geduldet werden, geriet auch Piper in Gefahr, von den Hundefängern ins öffentliche Shelter gebracht zu werden. Zum Glück konnte sie rechtzeitig von dort gerettet und in Sicherheit gebracht werden. Piper zeigt sich als freundliche und aufgeschlossene Hündin, die den Kontakt zu Menschen genießt. Sie lässt sich gerne streicheln, ist aufmerksam und freut sich besonders über kleine Leckerchen. Dabei wirkt sie angenehm zugewandt, ohne sich in den Vordergrund zu drängen. Auch an der Leine läuft Piper bereits sehr gut. Neue Situationen nimmt sie interessiert an und vermittelt den Eindruck, dass sie sich mit der richtigen Begleitung schnell zurechtfindet. Durch ihre offene und anpassungsfähige Art bringt sie gute Voraussetzungen mit, um sich in einem neuen Zuhause einzuleben. Mit anderen Hunden ist Piper verträglich. Ob sie auch mit Katzen zusammenleben könnte, wurde bislang nicht getestet. Optisch ist Piper mit ihrem schwarz-weißen Fell ein echter Hingucker. Die markante Gesichtszeichnung, ihre warmen bernsteinfarbenen Augen und der buschige Schwanz machen sie unverwechselbar. Aufgrund ihrer Erscheinung könnten Hütehundanteile in ihr stecken. Da Piper jedoch ein Mischling ist, lassen sich mögliche Rasseanteile und rassetypische Eigenschaften nicht sicher bestimmen. Auch wenn Piper bereits vieles gelassen meistert, muss sie das Leben in einem Haushalt möglicherweise erst kennenlernen.
