Pippin and Jasper

Male Β· Adult Β· 6 years

Neutered/Spayed? Will be at time of adoption. 🐾❀️ DOUBLE THE LOVE, DOUBLE THE CUDDLES β€” CAN YOU GIVE PIPPIN & JASPER A HOME TOGETHER? ❀️🐾 Meet the utterly adorable Pippin (6) and his son Jasper (3) β€” a very special father-and-son duo who are completely devoted to each other. These two beautiful dogs came into our care as part of a recent welfare case, alongside two other dogs. Their previous circumstances meant that they had not received the level of care they needed, and they arrived looking very much worse for wear. Thankfully, they are now safe and receiving the care, attention and love they deserve. They are still very much at the beginning of their recovery journey, so there is some way to go β€” including waiting for their coats to fully recover and grow back. Despite everything, they have shown what wonderful dogs they are. They are bonded father & son and will be looking for a loving home together, where they can continue to gain confidence, recover and enjoy the quality of life they deserve. ✨ Pippin & Jasper at a glance: 🐾 Father & son β€” Pippin is 6, Jasper is 3 🐾 Both small, friendly and incredibly affectionate 🐾 Have lived happily with dogs, cats and children 🐾 Lovely, easy-going temperaments 🐾 Enjoy their walks and are good on the lead 🐾 Friendly, sociable boys who could fit beautifully into many different family homes 🐾 Looking for a home where they can remain together ❀️ They really are the sweetest little pair, and watching their bromance makes it impossible not to hope that someone will fall in love with both of them. πŸ₯° Could you be the person or family who gives these two little cuties the happy ending they deserve? Two small dogs means twice the love, twice the cuddles and twice the waggy tails! 🐢🐢❀️ Adoption fee for the pair: Β£520 (Includes microchip registration) Adoption paperwork applies. RBU established.

About Pippin and Jasper

What life with Pippin and Jasper looks like

Pippin and Jasper is a small adult dog waiting at Doggy Dens UK Rescue in United Kingdom.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. Two reasonable walks a day plus play time is usually enough. Plan a "decompression fortnight" β€” quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures β€” to let them settle.

πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Pippin and Jasper, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Pippin and Jasper?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Doggy Dens UK Rescue handles screening and the adoption contract directly β€” TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Pippin and Jasper on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Pippin and Jasper if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad β€” Doggy Dens UK Rescue will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Pippin and Jasper already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported β€” ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Pippin and Jasper isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work β€” that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Doggy Dens UK Rescue early rather than rehoming privately; they know Pippin and Jasper and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect β€” names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
