This lovely girl is Pixie and she is almost two years old. She is currently in foster in Aberdeenshire having arrived in July. Pixie has a missing paw on her left foreleg, the vets assume she was born this way. This doesn't stop Miss Pixie from getting around though, she loves life and goes wherever she desires with full gusto. Sand To Sofa have commissioned an artificial paw and brace for Pixie from a specialist company, which will ensure she gets the opportunity to use her leg and bear weight, so alleviating the chance of joint problems that may have hampered her in later life. This is due to be delivered very soon and we will give her the best care and help with its use. Pixie's foster has this to say about her: "Pixie is an absolute joy to have around. She has settled in instantly with our two resident dogs and made herself fully at home.
