Hello, I am Plum, I came as a found animal to our shelter. Since it seems that no one is missing me, I am now searching for a beautiful new home. When I arrived at the animal shelter, I was very sick. At the vet, it turned out that I have macrocystis, commonly known as megabacteria. This is an infectious disease caused by a fungus. I have been treated with antifungal medication for 21 days (which is why I am orange around my beak in the photo), but I will always carry the disease within me and therefore can only be placed with a partner or in a group that has also tested positive for megabacteria. My home should not be a small cage, but a beautiful aviary where I can fly freely and spread my wings. Hallöchen, ich bin Plum, ich kam als Fundtier ins Tierheim. Da mich scheinbar niemand vermisst, suche ich jetzt ein schönes neues Zuhause. Als ich im Tierheim ankam, war ich sehr krank. Beim Tierarzt hat sich herausgestellt, dass ich Macrorhabdiose habe, umgangssprachlich Megabakteriose genannt. Das ist eine Infektionskrankheit, die durch einen Hefepilz ausgelöst wird. Ich wurde jetzt auch schon 21 Tage lang gegen Pilze behandelt (deshalb bin ich auch auf dem Foto so orange um den Schnabel), allerdings werde ich die Krankheit immer in mir tragen und darf deshalb auch nur zu einem Partner oder in eine Gruppe ziehen, die auch positiv auf Megabakteriose getestet wurde. Mein Zuhause soll kein kleiner Käfig sein, sondern eine schöne Voliere, in der ich frei fliegen und mich ausbreiten kann. Wenn Ihr also ein passendes Plätzchen für mich frei habt, dann meldet Euch doch gerne, damit ich nicht mehr alleine hier sitzen muss. Euer Plum
