Can I adopt Poki 🐾 blüht auf if I live in another country?

Yes, in most cases. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.

What happens if Poki 🐾 blüht auf isn't the right fit?

Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Heroes for Cyprus Cats / Zypernkatzen early rather than rehoming privately; they know Poki 🐾 blüht auf and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.

Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?

TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.

Poki (male, neutered) 🎂 Birthday: ca. 10/2023 📌 Location: Cyprus, on PS 🏡 Housing: no unsecured outdoor access, no solitary housing Hello, I'm Poki! When I was found, I was admittedly a bit rough around the edges: skinny and with bald spots in my fur. Now I've been in the foster home for about half a year and have recovered well, slowly revealing that I'm a handsome cat. I'm also nice, a very dear boy according to my foster mother. After everything I've been through, I think I've earned a nice home. Will you give me a chance and adopt me? Contact Heroes for Cyprus Cats and I'll prove to you that I'm a great cat! I'll start my journey to you chipped, vaccinated, tested for FiV/FelV, and with an EU pet passport. ----------------------------------------------------------- Who are the heroes behind Heroes for Cyprus Cats We at Heroes for Cyprus Cats are a dedicated team of animal lovers from Cyprus, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, who are committed to the welfare of street cats in Cyprus. Our goal is to improve the lives of these cats sustainably. Our local team in Cyprus feeds, neuters, and cares for sick or injured cats on the streets and in colonies. If necessary, we bring them to foster families, where they wait in a safe environment for their family. We also maintain a strong online presence, handle inquiries from adopters, and provide support at the airport. Street cats in Cyprus suffer greatly and are often victims of car accidents or cruel mistreatment. Many simply starve or die from diseases that are not treated. We save them from this sad fate and work tirelessly to find a loving, safe home for our rescued cats. We place great value on a collegial, transparent, and respectful relationship within our team and with potential adopters. For us, adopting a cat is just the beginning. We commit to supporting our rescued cats and their new families for a lifetime. Together, we make a difference, for every single cat.
