Poli is a French bulldog who was given up due to his difficult behavior towards strangers, a move to an apartment, and an upcoming surgery for his owner. Poli is a dog with a special character. He is not very fond of people he doesn't know, but once you've built a bond with him, he's a big cuddler. He needs clear rules and some guidance, and if you give him that, he's a very pleasant dog. Poli can easily stay alone for a whole workday, he just stays loose in the house. He is also house trained. He has lived with cats, and this went very well. What does Poli look for? A quiet home with only one owner would be ideal for him. An introduction to a stable dog of his own size is possible, but only dogs of at least his size. Poli was operated on his eye for melting ulcer. We are still taking care of the aftercare here and he has a follow-up appointment scheduled. We will only let him leave for a new home when this is completely fine, but we can already start the search for a home for this nice guy.

Gedrag & Persoonlijkheid: Poli is een hond met een speciaal karakter. hij is niet zo dol op mensen die hij niet kent maar eens je een band met hem hebt opgebouwd is het een grote knuffelaar. Het is een hond die nood heeft aan duidelijke regels en wat begeleiding, indien je hem dit geeft is het een heel aangename hond. Poli kan gemakkelijk een hele werkdag alleen blijven, hij verbleef dan gewoon los in huis. En hij is zindelijk. Hij heeft samengeleefd met katten en dit ging heel goed. Wat zoekt Poli? Een rustige thuis met slechts 1 baasje zou ideaal zijn voor hem. Een kennismaking met een eigen stabiele hond is mogelijk, wel enkel honden van minstens zijn formaat. Medisch Poli werd bij ons geopereerd aan zijn oogje, hij had melting ulcer. Momenteel zijn we hier nog bezig met de nazorg hiervan en heeft hij nog een controle gepland staan. We laten hem sowieso pas naar een nieuwe thuis vertrekken wanneer dit volledig in orde is, maar we kunnen al vast de zoektocht naar een baasje voor deze leukerd starten.
