Polly is a sensitive soul with a delicate heart wrapped in the body of a strong, powerful dog. Behind bars, she acts like many of our other dogs: she barks, whines, and gets agitated. She doesn't present herself well. She cries out to the world that she exists, that she is here, that she just wants people to see her differently. And they pass by. They think they see a dog who is too rough, too intense, too something. But no one sees that behind this slightly disheveled exterior, there is an immense heart trembling. Because Polly, outside of the kennel, is not the same; she is a revelation. When trust slowly and gently takes hold, she melts away. Literally. She becomes a wave of love that overwhelms you without warning. Endless cuddles. Her head resting against you as if she wants to get into your chest to check that your heart is beating properly. Polly is incredibly sensitive. A delicate soul in the body of a strong, powerful dog.

Derrière les barreaux, elle fait comme beaucoup de nos loulous : elle s’agite, elle aboie, elle s’emballe. Elle se présente mal. Elle crie au monde entier qu’elle existe, qu’elle est là, qu’elle voudrait juste qu’on la regarde autrement. Et on passe. On croit voir une chienne trop brute, trop intense, trop quelque chose. Mais personne ne voit que derrière cette carapace un peu brouillonne, il y a un cœur immense qui tremble. Parce que Polly, hors du box, ce n’est plus la même, c’est une révélation. Quand la confiance s’installe, doucement, à petits pas, elle fond. Littéralement. Elle devient une vague d’amour qui vous submerge sans prévenir. Des câlins à n’en plus finir. Sa tête posée contre vous comme si elle voulait rentrer dans votre poitrine pour vérifier que votre cœur bat bien. Polly est d’une sensibilité bouleversante. Une âme délicate dans un corps de costaud.
