Pongó is a 7-year-old male dog. I am just slightly bigger than a spaniel, about 15 kg. I have my vaccinations, chip, and I already had the neutering procedure. My heartworm test is negative. You can safely let me into your home, because I am completely housebroken, and I don't destroy anything. Moreover, I am supposedly a kind, patient, calm animal. I have been near death twice. Once, when they wanted to euthanize me at a rural municipal pound. Then the Kismaszat Animal Rescue association helped me, they saved me from euthanasia. The second time I was a stray dog, when my back two legs became paralyzed - I had a herniated disc. The rural vet said that euthanasia should be considered, but again the Kismaszatos were by my side and arranged the surgery and rehabilitation. My previous owner couldn't take me back after the operation, because he got sick in the hospital, so I now have a temporary home, and I'm already very much looking forward to someone coming for me, who will be my light. I love people, children, and I get along well with other dogs, I have many dog friends now. However, I chase and bother the cats. I really love to walk, run, and play with the other dogs. Pongó vagyok, 7 év körüli fiú kutyus. Épp csak kicsivel vagyok nagyobb, mint egy spániel, kb. 15 kg a súlyom. Oltás, chip megvan, az ivartalanításon már rég túlestem. A szívféregtesztem negatív. Nyugodtan beengedhetsz a lakásba, mert teljesen szobatiszta vagyok, és nem teszek tönkre semmit, ráadásul állítólag kedves, türelmes, nyugodt tünemény vagyok. Kétszer voltam a halál közelében… Egyszer, amikor egy vidéki gyepmesteri telepen el akartak altatni. Akkor a Kismaszat Állatmentő Egyesület segített rajtam, ők hoztak ki altatás elől. Másodszor pedig már gazdis kutyus voltam, amikor a hátsó két lábam lebénult – gerincsérvem volt. A vidéki orvos azt mondta, hogy el kell gondolkozni az altatáson, de akkor is mellettem voltak a Kismaszatosok, és megszervezték a műtétet, a rehabilitációt. Előző gazdim nem tudott visszafogadni a műtét után, mivel ágyhoz között beteg lett, így most ideiglenes otthonom van, és már nagyon várom, hogy értem jöjjön valaki, akinek én leszek a szeme fénye. Embereket, gyerekeket szeretem, és a többi kutyussal is jól kijövök, most is sok kutyatesóm van. A cicákat viszont ugatom és kertegem. Nagyon szeretek sétálni, futni, szaladgálni a többi kutyussal.
