Pontus is looking for a home 💚 Meet Pontus 🐾 Pontus - a loyal senior wants to experience what home feels like again ❤️ There are dogs for whom one wishes only one thing: that life gives them back everything it took from them before. Pontus is one of those dogs. This incredibly loving, loyal black senior should not have to spend his remaining time in a shelter. We wish for him a warm bed, loving hands, and people who let themselves be enchanted every day by his wonderful charm. ❤️ 💔 He waited for a person who did not return... On February 25, 2025, our animal welfare colleagues in Romania received photos of an old dog who had simply been left on the street. A blanket and a plastic bucket were all that was left with him. But Pontus stayed. He waited faithfully at that exact spot and cried. Apparently, he still hoped that his person would come back and pick him up again. His fate did not leave Andra at peace. The very next morning, she drove to get him. Even then, Pontus did not want to leave his place at first - as if he still believed that he just had to wait long enough. 💔 Finally, he could be secured and came into Andra's care. ❤️ Pontus has fought - and won Unfortunately, it soon became clear that Pontus had not only experienced a lot emotionally. A sticker tumor was found in the area of the testicles and penis, which was already bleeding slightly and causing him pain. On February 27, 2025, Pontus came to the clinic. He was treated, received chemotherapy, and was operated on. Today, this difficult time is over. Pontus is recovered and fit and full of life again. ❤️ And maybe now is the time when life can finally give him something back. 🥹 A senior who still loves people What touches us about Pontus: Despite everything that has happened to him, he still loves people.

🥹 Ein Senior, der die Menschen trotzdem liebt Was uns an Pontus besonders berührt: Trotz allem, was ihm widerfahren is
