Adopt Pop Corn

European Shorthair · Male · Kitten · 5 months

My story: Pop Corn arrived through a free cat program. My character: Popcorn is a small cat in search of love and affection. He purrs very easily as soon as you start to scratch him, and these moments of tenderness can last a long time... for his greatest happiness (and yours). Mr. Popcorn is also a big eater, food is clearly one of his favorite pleasures. When you pet him, Popcorn has his own way of showing that he enjoys it: he rolls around in all directions, which makes him particularly funny and endearing. He may sometimes have moments where he appears more shy. He will therefore need a patient, gentle and attentive human who will know how to let him come at his own pace to reveal all his cuddling potential. Popcorn is also a playful cat, no matter the toy! He does however have a soft spot for bells and string toys. He is a very respectful cat who does not show his claws with humans. He loves to perch high up and often chooses the top of the cat tree for long naps. Likes/Dislikes: Popcorn really likes to watch the outside from the windows. An access to the outside would therefore greatly appeal to him and contribute to his well-being. Okay children Dogs: to test Cats:

About Pop Corn

What life with Pop Corn looks like

Pop Corn is a puppy/kitten european shorthair cat waiting at APAA Trégrom in France.

Kittens are tiny chaos engines for about six months and then mellow rapidly. They need two scheduled feedings, a litter box per cat plus one extra, and somewhere high to climb. Spay/neuter happens around six months — most shelters arrange this before adoption.

🇫🇷Adopting from France

French refuges follow the SPA framework: adopters sign a cession contract that includes sterilization, vaccinations, microchip identification, and rabies passport. Fees are typically €150–€300. Many refuges work with rescue transport partners for cross-border placements.

Frequently asked

Adopting Pop Corn, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Pop Corn?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. APAA Trégrom handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Pop Corn on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Pop Corn if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — APAA Trégrom will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Pop Corn already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most cats on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Pop Corn isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with APAA Trégrom early rather than rehoming privately; they know Pop Corn and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (FR). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
