Porsche

Belgian Malinois · Female · Senior · 10 years

Porsche – a strong-willed lady dog is seeking her forever home Porsche currently lives at the animal shelter in Spain. She shows herself to be well-adjusted with her fellow animals and is therefore allowed to live her shelter life in the open-run group instead of in a cage. Porsche is a female dog with a strong character, but she is always approachable and cooperative. She simply needs guidance and clear instructions, which is why people experienced with dogs who meet her with clear commands usually get along well with her. Porsche is always happy to be with people: attention, cuddles – everything that is sadly lacking at the animal shelter, she finds wonderful. We wish for Porsche that she can still write a new chapter. Ideally, by the side of an engaged and active family, because Porsche needs to lose weight. With a regular routine, more exercise, and veterinary support, this can be achieved: Porsche can generally be encouraged, and the Malinois within her should be thrilled about a life with more input, training, and adventures. Anyone who can help, please enable the life that this lady dog deserves. Porsche has already experienced a lot and might be a bit older, but with the right people by her side, the beautiful female dog can still bloom again and hopefully start her best years healthier, more active, and more balanced. She brings the will to live – now she wishes for people who meet her with patience, experience, and a heart and show her that a new beginning is never too late. If you are aware of what adopting a shelter dog entails and you have fallen in love with the need, please contact the responsible mediator at the SALVA Dog Aid. We would also be very grateful for the provision of a foster home!.

About Porsche

What life with Porsche looks like

Porsche is a senior belgian malinois dog waiting at SALVA Hundehilfe e.V. in Germany.

Senior dogs settle in faster than younger ones. They want a soft bed, predictable meals, and short, sniff-heavy walks rather than runs. Many senior rescues bond deeply within weeks because they understand exactly how good a stable home is. Expect occasional vet visits for joint or dental care.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Porsche, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Porsche?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. SALVA Hundehilfe e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Porsche on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Porsche if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — SALVA Hundehilfe e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Porsche already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Porsche isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with SALVA Hundehilfe e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Porsche and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
