Poupette est une chienne au tempérament mesuré, qui demande simplement que l'on respecte son rythme d'adaptation. Elle aborde les premiers contacts avec prudence et réserve, sans aucune agressivité, et s'ouvre progressivement dès lors qu'elle évolue dans un environnement stable et cohérent. De nature indépendante, elle n'est pas spontanément en recherche de contact, mais se montre tout à fait réceptive lorsque les interactions sont initiées avec calme et sans pression. Un accompagnement orienté désensibilisation à la manipulation et renforcement positif lui permettra de gagner en confiance et de s'épanouir sereinement. Avec ses congénères de gabarit similaire, elle se montre détendue et joueuse : une belle facette de sa personnalité qui s'exprime naturellement dans un cadre adapté.
