Lara was a cat with an independent, wild heart. She avoided contact with people, did not seek closeness, and as soon as she sensed the presence of a man – she disappeared in a safe corner. Untrustful, withdrawn, delicate – that's what she was like. Not everyone was allowed to know her, but even less people – to gain her confidence. We believed that in time there would be someone who would accept her as she is – without expectations, with full respect for her freedom and the need for peace. Maybe she would never be a “cat on her knees”, but she deserved to live her own life, in a place where she could just be. Unfortunately, Lara left before she got her chance. It was defeated by FIP – a disease against which we were powerless, despite our efforts and care. She left quietly, as she lived – wild, independently, away from the hustle. Lara, run free – where no one scares you anymore. 🕊️🐾

Lara była kocicą o niezależnym, dzikim sercu. Unikała kontaktu z ludźmi, nie szukała bliskości, a gdy tylko wyczuwała obecność człowieka – znikała w bezpiecznym kącie. Nieufna, wycofana, delikatna – taka właśnie była. Nie każdemu było dane ją poznać, a jeszcze mniej osobom – zdobyć jej cień zaufania. Wierzyliśmy, że z czasem znajdzie się ktoś, kto zaakceptuje ją taką, jaka jest – bez oczekiwań, z pełnym szacunkiem dla jej wolności i potrzeby spokoju. Może nigdy nie byłaby „kotem na kolana”, ale zasługiwała na to, by żyć po swojemu, w miejscu, gdzie mogłaby po prostu być. Niestety, Lara odeszła, zanim dostała swoją szansę. Pokonał ją FIP – choroba, wobec której byliśmy bezsilni, mimo starań i opieki. Odeszła cicho, tak jak żyła – dziko, niezależnie, z dala od zgiełku. Laro, biegaj wolna – tam, gdzie już nikt Cię nie przestraszy. 🕊️🐾
