Ik ben Princesse, maar voor mijn vrienden mag je Cotelette’tje zeggen. En ik ben op zoek naar mijn eigen gouden mandje! Ik ben een lieve jongedame van 5 jaar en eigenlijk vraag ik helemaal niet zoveel. Geef mij vooral veel knuffels en een gezellig plekje naast jou, dan ben ik helemaal gelukkig! Ik ben namelijk een echte levensgenieter. Het liefst lig ik lekker lui naast jou te genieten van mijn dag. Waarom rondlopen als je ook heerlijk kunt slapen? Natuurlijk kom ik af en toe wel eens in actie voor een lekker hapje of om mijn nageltjes aan de krabpaal te scherpen, maar daarna is het toch echt weer tijd voor een dutje. Ik ben dan ook een heel rustig katje en zoek een rustig thuis waar ik op mijn eigen tempo kan genieten van mijn nieuwe leven. Kleine kindjes zijn voor mij wat te druk, maar met oudere, rustige kinderen heb ik geen probleem. Mijn paleisje deel ik ook liever niet met andere huisdieren. Ik heb mijn naam Princesse tenslotte niet zomaar gekregen… ik ben graag de enige prinses in huis! Ook buiten hoef je mij niet te zoeken. Ik blijf het liefst lekker binnen, waar alles veilig en vertrouwd is. Andere katten die buiten rondlopen? Daar zou ik misschien nog wel eens ruzie mee kunnen maken om mijn paleisje te verdedigen. Ben jij op zoek naar een ontzettend lieve, rustige poes die het liefst gezellig naast je ligt te slapen en volop geniet van knuffels? Dan zou jij zomaar mijn nieuwe mensje kunnen zijn! Medisch: Scottish folds zijn gekweekt op de kenmerkende vouw oortjes. Hierdoor hebben deze katjes vaak wat meer medische opvolging nodig. Om die vouwoortjes te bekomen zijn ze namelijk gaan kweken op slechter kraakbeen. Dit wil dus zeggen dat niet alleen mijn oren minder kraakbeen kunnen hebben maar ook mijn andere gewrichten. Naarmate dit ras ouder wordt kan het dus zijn dat ze sneller gezondheidsproblemen betreffende hun gewrichten zullen hebben dan andere rassen.
