Potty trained Pueblo was rescued from a shelter after a long period of wandering, exhausted, neglected, and so thin that every bone could be seen beneath his coat. No one knows what he went through before he reached us, but it is clear that he had been left to survive on his own for a long time. Despite such a difficult beginning, Pueblo has kept his gentle nature and his enormous heart. What touched us most was the way he cared for the puppies we rescued, as if they were his own—protecting them, following them, and patiently putting up with all their little mischiefs. He is gentle, loyal, and full of love, one of those dogs who brings a sense of peace wherever he goes. Now, all Pueblo needs is a family who will show him that life can be so much better when you have a home of your own and people who truly belong to you. “They say I’m the best friend anyone could ask for—I get along with everyone and love playing with my friends! ”
