These two have had what can only be described as a massive software update. When they first arrived, Moochi was terrified of approximately everything and used Miso as industrial strength emotional bubble wrap. Miso was the brave one, the bodyguard, the designated spokesperson and Chief Inspector of Humans. Now? They join everyone in bed. They love being stroked. They happily accept affection. They’ve discovered their tiny little meows after previously being completely mute. But, most importantly, they’ve gone from gratefully eating absolutely anything to being fussy little madams with culinary standards. So that’s nice. Give a rescue cat confidence and apparently the first thing they do is leave you a one star review on dinner. Miso is friendly, affectionate and loves a fuss. She’ll accept cuddles and still keeps a protective eye on her sister. Moochi has come an INCREDIBLE way. She’s still the more nervous of the two and will need someone patient who understands that her confidence may wobble in a new environment. But we’ve now seen exactly what she’s capable of when she feels safe. These girls aren’t looking for someone who expects instant perfection. They’re looking for someone willing to give them time, patience and love while they settle all over again. Because underneath the nerves are two gorgeous, affectionate little girls just waiting to take over your bed, shout tiny demands at you and decide the expensive food you bought yesterday is suddenly beneath them. Miso & Moochi come as a package deal. One bodyguard. One recovering anxious potato.
