Podenco Pumba is eager to arrive. Pumba finally had the great fortune to travel to Germany on a foster home. The loving male dog has thawed and shows himself to be very playful. He is delighted to meet any dog he encounters. He loves treats, which makes training easier. For example, he still needs some practice with leash walking, as he can be excited at first. Rassetypically, Pumba has a prey drive. Otherwise, he is open, curious, reserved, and very friendly. He is house-trained, can be left alone, and is quiet at night. Even car rides are no problem for the sweet Pumba. Pumba has old fractures on both front legs. These were now examined at veterinary clinics in Germany, and there is no need for surgery. He moves around just fine and does not experience pain. Of course, he still cannot keep up on a bicycle, climb many stairs, or do other wild activities. This must also be kept in mind in the future. It is also possible that he may need pain medication later.

Podenco Pumba möchte ankommen. Pumba hatte endlich das große Glück und durfte auf eine Pflegestelle nach Deutschland reisen. Der liebe Rüde ist inzwischen aufgetaut und zeigt sich sehr verspielt. Er freut sich über jeden Hund, dem er begegnet. Er liebt Leckerlies, was die Erziehung erleichtert. Bei der Leinenführigkeit zum Beispiel muss noch etwas geübt werden, da er anfangs noch aufgeregt ist. Rassetypisch hat Pumba einen Jagdtrieb. Ansonsten ist er aufgeschlossen, neugierig, zurückhaltend und sehr freundlich. Er ist stubenrein, kann alleine bleiben und ist nachts ruhig. Auch Autofahren ist kein Problem für den süßen Pumba. Pumba hat alte Brüche an beiden Vorderbeinen. Diese wurde nun in Deutschland in Tierkliniken untersucht und es besteht kein Bedarf der Operation. Er bewegt sich auch, als wäre nichts und er hat keine Schmerzen. Natürlich kann er dennoch nicht am Fahrrad mitlaufen, viele Treppen steigen oder sonstige wilde Dinge tun.
