"Quijote is still full of energy; all he wants to do is play and play, go for walks, run and jump. He’s always absolutely chuffed and is ready to be adopted" Report from volunteer Patricia, June 2026: Quijote: He is a large dog who gets incredibly excited when you take him for a walk. He will pull you out of the shelter, but once you’re outside, he really tries not to do so anymore, and he improves every time. He is a very friendly dog who loves cuddles and attention. He can be a little reactive toward other dogs, but that is really his only downside. He has a spectacular coat, eyes full of tenderness and a presence that leaves no one indifferent. He is a strong, noble and very good-natured dog. He enjoys walks, company and spending time with people. Behind his imposing demeanour lies an affectionate and loyal companion, with a huge heart just waiting for a chance. Quijote is, quite simply, a dream of a dog. That’s why it’s such a shame he hasn’t yet found a family who can see just how special he is.
