Update 20.11.2023: Hello everyone, I am Raffaello! I am unfortunately back here again because it didn’t work out in my previous family. I am also not exactly easy and bring a few specialities with me. Since my birth, I have been deaf and therefore cannot be rehomed to the outdoors, but only to an apartment suitable for living or a secured outdoor area. For me, an enclosed balcony or garden would be ideal. Probably, with the deafness, there are also a few more issues, such as my somewhat special face. But that doesn’t bother me much, and I love being cuddled and stroked, and I also actively seek that. Anyway, I am now looking for a new home where I can live together with another socializable cat. If you can offer me such a home and my specialities do not bother you, then please contact Raffaello at the animal shelter. So now it’s my turn to introduce myself, hello, I am Raffaello, I believe you’ve all heard of me, because: I am the poor kitten that was abandoned! Why, I don’t know either, was I not good enough? Or because I am deaf? Well, anyway, I am now looking for a new home where everything will be better for me. I am a playful, active young guy who has quickly made friends with the other kittens here. But what I cannot stand is when someone approaches me from behind, you know, I can’t hear anything. Then I might hiss or swipe, but it’s not meant to be aggressive, I just get scared. Due to my deafness, I can only be rehomed to a secured outdoor area, so I need another cat companion. I would be happy to have a kitten from here or an already existing kitten. This kitten, however, would have to be compatible with me, as I am a bit special. Update 20.11.2023: Hallo zusammen, ich bin der Raffaello! Ich bin leider schon wieder hier gelandet, da es in meiner bisherigen Familie nicht geklappt hat. Ich bin leider auch nicht ganz einfach und bringe ein paar Besonderheiten mit. Seit Geburt an bin ich taub und kann daher nicht in den Freigang vermittelt werden, sondern nur in Wohnungshaltung beziehungsweise gesicherten Freigang. Für mich wäre ein abgesicherter Balkon oder Garten ideal. Wahrscheinlich hängen mit der Taubheit auch noch ein paar mehr Probleme zusammen, so etwa mein etwas spezielles Gesicht. Viel ausmachen tut mir das aber nicht, auch kuscheln und streicheln liebe ich über alles und fordere das auch aktiv ein. Jedenfalls suche ich jetzt ein neues Zuhause, in dem ich zusammen mit einer anderen sozialverträglichen Katze leben kann. Wenn Ihr mir so ein Zuhause bieten könnt und Euch auch meine Besonderheiten nicht stören, dann meldet Euch doch gerne im Tierheim. Was ich aber nicht leiden kann, ist, wenn sich jemand von hinten mir nähert, Ihr wisst schon, kann leider nichts hören. Dann kann ich auch schonmal fauchen oder zuhauen, das ist aber nicht böse gemeint, ich erschrecke mich einfach nur. Aufgrund meiner Taubheit kann ich auch nur in den gesicherten Freigang ziehen, da brauche ich dann aber noch einen Katzenkumpel. Ich würde mich über ein Kitten von hier oder eine bereits vorhandene Jungkatze freuen. Dieses müsste allerdings zu mir passen, da ich eben ein wenig besonders bin.
