Adopt Raider

Mixed Breed · Male · Puppy

Description Rawy, Raider, Raisa, Rania, Riu, and Ria were six little siblings, the result of human irresponsibility, once again. Their mom must have searched desperately for them, not understanding where her babies were and why they were taken away. Fortunately, these puppies were rescued in time, and we are finding good homes for them. If these babies' lives began in a container, Raider in particular has had less luck than his siblings. He was born with problems in his paw and megaesophagus, but fortunately, both issues were resolved, and now he leads a normal life. He had the good fortune of being adopted as a puppy, but almost a year later, his family returned him to the animal shelter due to behavioral issues he developed with them. We are looking for an adopter with experience who can take care of Raider and love him for his entire life, who will notice him, his little eyes, and come to meet him and discover how soft his fur is and what he likes to walk and explore. He is very affectionate and compatible with other dogs.

About Raider

What life with Raider looks like

Raider is a puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Keywords in Spain.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇪🇸Adopting from Spain

Spanish protectoras generally include sterilization, all vaccinations, microchip ID, and EU pet passport in the adoption fee (typically €250–€400 for a dog, €100–€180 for a cat). Many maintain partnerships with rescue transport providers across the EU.

Frequently asked

Adopting Raider, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Raider?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Keywords handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Raider on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Raider if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Keywords will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Raider already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Raider isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Keywords early rather than rehoming privately; they know Raider and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (ES). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
