Could you be my perfect match? Hello! My name is I can live with Dogs Cats Children MY story Ranger arrived with us about a year ago from Romania. He was so poorly as a puppy and we should have lost him many times. But he fought himself back to full health and was able to travel when he was about 5 months old. Ranger started off in foster was a nervous lad. Unfortunately his foster was not able to cope with him anymore so he made the move to kennels. This was absolutely detrimental to Ranger and he completely shut down and could not cope at all. But recently he was able to make the move back into foster had has thrived ever since. He is currently living with many other dogs and doing very well. Ranger does have some prey drive so as you can see by some of the pictures and videos he wears a muzzle around dogs much smaller than him just in case. But would not need this if living with dogs of similar size. Ranger would definitely need another dog to help his confidence. He would struggle as an only dog. So please only apply if you have another resident dog.Ranger is a big friendly giant. He is about the size of a greyhound. He absolutely loves love and attention and spending hours in the garden playing with the other foster dogs. Ranger walks well on a lead but is still very nervous of the outside world, he would benefit from a walk a few times a week to start slowly building up to longer. Ranger is crate trained and house clean.Ranger does have some mild hip dysplasia so is currently attending hydrotherapy once a week. We would happily cover the costs of this going forward and any cost related to his hip dysplasia. But the hope is with regular hydrotherapy he won’t need any surgery now or in the future.Ranger is the sweetest of dogs you could hope to meet. All he wants is a sofa of his own and the time to trust some new humans. He is a wonderful dog and deserves the absolute world. MY PERFECT HOME Ranger will need a secure garden with 6ft fencing minimum and no gaps at all.As with all dogs on going training will be needed. Ranger can live with dogs, no cats and children 12+. OUR ADOPTION PROCESS 1 Fill in application form Please fill in the form as honestly as possible. Our team will read the application and make sure it is the right match for the dog being applied for. 2 We will arrange a home check If you and the dogs seem a good fit we will call you to discuss further, arrange to meet the dog and arrange a physical home check at your home. 3 Matched with your dog Once we have agreed together that this is the right dog for you we will arrange for your dog to come to you. Depending whether this is via kennels or foster homes it may vary. 4 Ongoing Support We love to keep in touch with everyone and hope you will reach out if you have any concerns or questions.
