Meet beautiful Rea. Rea is a beautiful, gentle soul, believed to be around 3–4 years old. When she was found, she was starving, weak, and in heartbreaking condition. But thanks to the love and dedication, she has made an incredible transformation. Today, Rea is healthy, happy, and thriving in a home environment with 1 to 1 foster care. She has adapted beautifully and has become a much-loved member of the household. Now all she needs is a family of her very own. ❤️ Rea is everything you could wish for in a companion: ● Gentle, affectionate, and incredibly loving. ● Forms deep, loyal bonds with her people. ● Perfect in the home and never causes any problems. ● Cat-friendly – she happily lives with two cats and ignores those she meets on walks. ● Loves car journeys and jumps in and out with ease. ● Walks beautifully on the lead. ● Good with other dogs and kind with people of all ages. ● A little shy when she first meets you, but once she trusts you, her love is unwavering. There is just one thing that has made finding her a home more difficult…Rea has Leishmania. Her condition is currently at a very low level and is well controlled with medication. While it can never be completely cured, dogs with managed Leishmania can enjoy long, happy, active lives. ❤️ Because of this, we would ideally like Rea to remain in Greece, where veterinarians have extensive experience treating the condition and medication is readily available and affordable. However, we are happy to discuss overseas adoption with the right family. Please don’t let her diagnosis stop you from seeing the wonderful dog she truly is.
