Her story: Reni was found all alone in a small village, about 15 kilometers from Bistrita. No mother, no siblings, no one to take care of her. Thankfully, she was discovered in time, for a small mouse on the street would have had little chance of survival. Now, Reni is housed at the Bistrita shelter. Here, she is at least safe, receives regular food, and is medically attended to. But a shelter is not a place to grow up, especially not when the harsh, Romanian winter is approaching. Temperatures will soon drop well below freezing. While our littlest ones can sleep in a heated container, it can still be cold and lonely. That's why we wish for Reni to travel to her own home soon, to people who will love and care for her. At first, Reni is a little cautious around people. But after just a few minutes, she completely warms up and shows what she's really like: a sweet, spoiled little puppy girl who enjoys every pat and clearly loves being close to people. Currently, Reni shares her run with two other young male dogs, with whom she gets along well. She also had no issues with other dogs she met. With cats, she has yet to have any contact. Her new family should also be aware that Reni is still unfamiliar with life in a loving family. She still needs to learn the whole puppy ABC and is yet to go through puberty. Here, she needs people who can approach with lots of love and patience, and possibly also attend positive dog training classes with her and forgive her one or two mishaps. Leash walking, house training, and being left alone are still foreign concepts to her. During puberty, she will likely test boundaries and perhaps forget some things she has learned. But once this phase is overcome, Reni will definitely make a great lifelong companion. Reni is microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and flea-treated. Ihre Geschichte: Reni wurde ganz alleine gefunden, in einem kleinen Dorf, etwa 15 Kilometer von Bistrita entfernt. Keine Mutter, keine Geschwister, niemand, der sich um sie kümmerte. Zum Glück wurde sie rechtzeitig entdeckt, denn allein auf der Straße hätte die kleine Maus kaum eine Überlebenschance gehabt. Nun ist Reni im Shelter von Bistrita untergebracht. Hier ist sie zumindest in Sicherheit, bekommt regelmäßig Futter und wird medizinisch versorgt. Doch ein Shelter ist kein Ort, um groß zu werden & schon gar nicht, wenn der harte, rumänische Winter vor der Tür steht. Draußen fallen die Temperaturen bald weit unter den Gefrierpunkt. Zwar dürfen unsere Kleinsten in einem beheizten Container schlafen, doch trotzdem kann es dort kalt und einsam werden. Deshalb wünschen wir uns für Reni, dass sie bald in ihr eigenes Zuhause reisen darf, zu Menschen, die sie lieben und behüten. Anfangs ist Reni gegenüber Menschen noch ein kleines bisschen vorsichtig. Doch nach nur wenigen Minuten taut sie komplett auf und zeigt, was wirklich in ihr steckt: ein zuckersüßes, verschmustes Hundemädchen, das jede Streicheleinheit genießt und die Nähe zum Menschen sichtlich liebt. Aktuell teilt sich Reni ihren Zwinger mit zwei anderen jungen Rüden, mit denen sie sich bestens versteht. Auch mit anderen Hunden, die sie bisher kennenlernen durfte, gab es keinerlei Probleme. Mit Katzen hatte sie bislang noch keinen Kontakt. Ihrer neuen Familie sollte auch bewusst sein, dass Reni das Leben in einer liebevollen Familie noch nicht kennt. Sie muss noch das ganze Welpen ABC lernen und auch die Pubertät steht ihr noch bevor. Hier braucht sie Menschen, die mit viel Liebe und Geduld vorgehen, ggf. auch eine positiv arbeitende Hundeschule mit ihr besuchen und ihr das ein oder andere Missgeschick verzeihen. Leinenführung, Stubenreinheit und Alleinbleiben sind für sie noch Fremdwörter. Während der Pubertät wird sie sicherlich Grenzen testen und vielleicht schon gelernte Dinge wieder „vergessen“. Aber wenn man diese Phase erstmal gemeistert hat, wird Reni ganz bestimmt eine tolle Partnerin fürs Leben werden. Reni ist gechipt, geimpft, entwurmt und entfloht. Sie bringt einen EU-Heimtierausweis mit und kann nach positiver Vorkontrolle und gegen eine Schutzgebühr von 500 Euro in ihre neue Familie ziehen.
