Please email the Rescue direct () if you are enquiring about an animal and include the animal’s name ** We rehomed Rex back in 202, but sadly, following the heart-breaking passing of his beloved dad, this gorgeous boy has arrived back into our care. Rex is a lovable boy who has gained a little extra weight, so he is currently on a diet to help get him back to his best. Rex really is such a sweet, loyal and loving boy. He can be a little wary of new people at first, but give him around 5 minutes to warm up and you will have a new best friend for life! Once Rex gets to know you, he bonds really well and forms a lovely relationship with his people. Out on walks: Rex is a good boy. He can pull a little at times but is not particularly strong or difficult to walk. He is dog social on walks and has not been reactive to other dogs. Like most Lurchers, he gets very excited if he spots a squirrel, so he has always been walked on lead. Other dogs: Rex is dog social, and dog introductions can be done with a suitable resident dog and successful introductions. Toys: Rex absolutely loves his toys and will happily keep himself entertained. Home life: Once he has settled into his new home, Rex can be left for sensible periods of time. He would love a home where he can spend plenty of time with his people and be part of the family. Rex has already known what it is like to have a loving home, and after losing his dad and finding himself back in rescue, we would love nothing more than to find him a wonderful forever home where he can settle down, feel safe and loved, and spend the rest of his life with a family of his own. Rex really is a special boy who has so much love and loyalty to give. Rex’s adoption fee is £250. All our dogs are neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, flea and worm treated and health checked before leaving us.
