Ricky: een vrolijk, speels en wat onzeker kereltje van 2 jaar jong die opzoek is naar een gouden mandje. Ricky is een poos geleden via een andere stichting vanuit Roemenië naar Nederland gekomen en is toen bij iemand komen wonen, samen met zijn zusje en andere honden. Helaas kon deze meneer niet meer voor ze zorgen en is o.a. Ricky bij ons gekomen. Wij gaan dit ventje nu helpen zoeken naar een gouden mandje. Ricky moest de eerste dagen even wennen aan ons, maar als snel ontdooide hij en is hij gek op ons en de aandacht! Hij is blij om ons te zien, gaat graag mee en vindt alles dan leuk. Toch is Ricky naar nieuwe mensen nog wat terughoudend, maar wij weten zeker dat hij zich snel zal openstellen. Ricky is nog niet heel erg bekend met de drukte van de buitenwereld en schrikt buiten nog wel snel. Toch zien we dat hij vrij snel herstelt, zeker als hij met iemand is die hij kent en we verwachten dan ook dat dit met wat begeleiding goed moet komen. Hij is ook erg voedselgericht, dus dat zal mogelijk helpen. Ricky is stapelgek op andere honden en woont zijn hele leven al samen met honden. Hij haalt veel steun uit ze en moeilijker situaties vindt hij een stuk makkelijker met een hond naast zich. Daarom zoeken we voor hem een plekje waar al een hond aanwezig is. Ricky wilt ook wel spelen met andere honden, maar als deze daar geen zin in heeft, vermaakt hij zich ook uitstekend met zijn eigen spel. Hij rent dan met gekke sprongetjes rondjes en dat is echt heel grappig om te zien! We hebben gekeken of hij met katten kan, maar dit is geen match, daarom zoeken we een huisje voor hem zonder katten. Omdat Ricky nog wat onder de indruk kan zijn van nieuwe dingen en onverwachtse geluiden etc. plaatsen we hem niet in een gezin met kinderen. Eventueel zouden oudere kinderen (12+) een optie zijn, maar een plek zonder kinderen ook. Voor Ricky zijn wij opzoek naar lieve mensen die ervaring hebben met honden en zelf dus ook al een hond hebben. Die hem gaan helpen meer vertrouwen te krijgen en er dan een vrolijk kereltje voor terug gaan krijgen!
