Rico could live with children around secondary school age, as he isn't comfortable around fast-moving young children. He does prefer to have constant companionship in the home and any time that he is left alone should be very gradually built up over time. Rico adores his toys but he particularly likes a squeaky toy and he'll throw it around with glee! Our vets have found a bit of stiffness in his back legs, which he is on daily pain relief for, but we can discuss this in more detail with any potential families. Animal Welfare licence number is AWE02, as licenced by Glasgow City Council. Rico is a stunning 2 year old Saluki cross who is super friendly and inquisitive! Rico gets instant zoomies when he makes new dog friends, so he would love to share his home with another dog. This boy can be a wee worried soul at times, and can need some encouragement e.g. walking through doorways. He'd benefit from having direct access into his own secure garden where he can build his confidence up and enjoy his own space.
