Rika arrived with her fear from Nekli. She is one of those feline souls that never had the chance to learn that humans can be more than just a distant presence. The company of people overshadows her. Rika spends most of her time hidden away— in a corner, in a kennel, anywhere where the world is a little less scary. She doesn’t seek contact, doesn’t approach, doesn’t try to draw attention. She’d rather disappear. And she does it really well. But behind that fear is a kitten who simply never got the chance to feel safe. We’re looking for a home for Riki that’s exceptionally calm and patient. A place where no one will expect anything or rush her. A home that will allow her to be invisible for as long as she needs to. Maybe it will take weeks before she takes her first step. Maybe months. Maybe even longer. Rika is not looking for closeness anymore. She’s looking for a place where her fear will finally stop being a daily reality. If you can give her space instead of pressure and quiet instead of expectations—Rika desperately needs that.
