Ringer nie miał łatwego startu. Przez długi czas żył na ulicy – samotny, przerażony, niewidzialny dla świata. Bał się ludzi, dźwięków, dotyku. Każdy dzień był walką o przetrwanie i każdy człowiek – potencjalnym zagrożeniem. Ale wtedy pojawiła się pomocna dłoń. I serca, które nie poddały się mimo strachu, warczenia i wycofania. Dzięki ogromnej pracy wolontariuszki, Ringer przeszedł cichą, ale wielką przemianę. Dziś ufa. Dziś pozwala się prowadzić, przyjmuje dotyk i sam szuka kontaktu. Dziś znów jest psem, który potrafi kochać. Ringer wciąż potrzebuje spokojnego domu – takiego, który zrozumie jego przeszłość i da mu bezpieczną przyszłość. W zamian on odda całe swoje psie serce.
