Ringo (m) – reserviert –

Mixed Breed · Male · Puppy · 4 months

Little Ringo was born in February 2026 and, despite his young age, has already been through more than any puppy should. Together with his two brothers, he was discovered at night by an animal rescuer in a brush pile against a tree – simply abandoned, left to fend for themselves. The faint cries of the tiny family broke her heart, and without hesitation, she took the three little ones with her. What followed was a time of great uncertainty: Where should they go? What would happen next? Fortunately, Dana from the local animal welfare association didn’t hesitate and took the three in. With plenty of love, care, and patience, they were nursed back to health. Today, Ringo is a cheerful, bright puppy ready to discover the world. He currently lives in a private animal shelter in Romania (Botoșani) and is now vaccinated. He will be able to travel at the end of May. Of course, we can’t say exactly how big Ringo will get. We estimate he might reach about 40–45 cm shoulder height – but that’s really a shot in the dark. Regarding travel arrangements, Ringo: comes with an EU pet passport, but is not yet neutered due to his age. Ringo is now looking for people who will show him how wonderful a dog’s life can be – with comfort, love, and security. People who understand that a puppy needs time, patience, and loving guidance. Now we’re hoping that this little guy can look to his future with hope – maybe soon at your side. Who will give this little fighter a home? Who would like to accompany him on his journey? RINGO is being rehomed through Tiernothilfe Casa Katharina e.V. – with a home check and adoption contract. The organization naturally holds a §11 (Tierschutzgesetz) permit. We will also continue to offer support to both people and animals after the adoption. RINGO travels safely to Germany and arrives in 91278 Pottenstein, where he would like to be picked up. A secure area is available there. Contact:

DE·Show original

About Ringo (m) – reserviert –

What life with Ringo (m) – reserviert – looks like

Ringo (m) – reserviert – is a small puppy/kitten mixed breed dog waiting at Tiernothilfe Casa Katharina e.V. in Nürnberg.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window — house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

🇩🇪Adopting from Germany

German rescues typically require an in-person home visit (Vorkontrolle) or detailed video home check before approving adoption. Animals leave the shelter sterilized, microchipped, and with a valid EU pet passport. Adoption fees usually fall between €250 and €450, covering veterinary preparation.

Frequently asked

Adopting Ringo (m) – reserviert –, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Ringo (m) – reserviert –?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Tiernothilfe Casa Katharina e.V. handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Ringo (m) – reserviert – on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Ringo (m) – reserviert – if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Tiernothilfe Casa Katharina e.V. will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Ringo (m) – reserviert – already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Ringo (m) – reserviert – isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Tiernothilfe Casa Katharina e.V. early rather than rehoming privately; they know Ringo (m) – reserviert – and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (DE). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
