Kiedy trafił do schroniska, jego stan mówił sam za siebie, był przestraszony, zaniedbany, miał brudną i zniszczoną sierść, nieprzyjemnie pachniał, a dodatkowo męczył go kaszel. Widać było, że życie go nie oszczędzało i przez długi czas musiał radzić sobie sam. Dziś Ringo jest już zdrowy i gotowy, by rozpocząć nowy rozdział u boku kochającego człowieka. Ringo to około 6-letni psiak, który ponad wszystko kocha ludzi. Jest niezwykle spragniony kontaktu z człowiekiem i wspólnie spędzanego czasu, jakby próbował nadrobić wszystko to, czego wcześniej mu brakowało. Chętnie towarzyszy opiekunowi, szuka bliskości i uwagi, a każda okazana mu odrobina czułości sprawia mu ogromną radość. Ringo niestety nie akceptuje innych psów.
