Rio came to us as a "found animal." He was found tied to a fence with a muzzle. We assume he was abandoned. After several weeks of training and slowly getting used to our routine, we can now say Rio has arrived and has built trust. Rio is never to be underestimated and should definitely be taken seriously. He is a very insecure dog with a strong territorial instinct, which is why visits should be well managed. Rio is looking for someone who won't intimidate him, as Rio is also quite capable of using his teeth. We are looking for a household without a lot of commotion and without children for Rio. We want someone who has the patience to engage in a longer getting-to-know-you phase with us together to build the necessary trust. The future interested party should live in a rural area and have a sufficiently large, secure property. Rio is not classified, but for safety reasons he is still led with a muzzle in everyday life.

Rio kam als „Fundtier“ zu uns. Er wurde angebunden an einem Zaun mit Maulkorb aufgefunden. Wir gehen davon aus, dass er ausgesetzt wurde. Nach einigen Wochen Training und langsamer Gewöhnung an unsere Routine können wir mittlerweile sagen, dass Rio angekommen ist und Vertrauen aufgebaut hat. Rio ist niemals zu unterschätzen und er sollte unbedingt ernst genommen werden. Er ist ein sehr unsicherer Hund mit einem ausgeprägten Territorialverhalten, weshalb Besuch gut gemanaged werden sollte. Rio sucht einen Menschen, der sich nicht von ihm verunsichern lässt, da Rio auch sehr wohl seine Zähne einzusetzen weiß. Für Rio suchen wir einen Haushalt ohne viel Trubel und ohne Kinder. Wir wünschen uns jemanden, der die Geduld hat, sich auf eine längere Kennenlernphase mit uns zusammen einzulassen, um das nötige Vertrauen aufzubauen. Der zukünftige Interessent sollte ländlich wohnen und über ein ausreichend großes, gesichertes Grundstück verfügen. Rio ist nicht eingestuft, wird aus Sicherheitsgründen im Alltag dennoch ausschließlich mit Maulkorb geführt.
