Rita is a young Malinois whose story is as moving as it is inspiring. When she was found, Rita was in a state of extreme suffering. Her paw was badly injured, nearly severed, and she was covered in blood. She had lived chained and mistreated, deprived of freedom and of any sense of stability. To save her life, a difficult but necessary decision had to be made: the amputation of her paw. But Rita has never let this ordeal define who she is. Today, this young dog, full of life, runs, plays and enjoys every moment with incredible energy. Despite having three legs, she moves with agility and lightness, and she runs very well. Rita is a Malinois who is very attached to people. After what she has been through, she easily develops a strong bond with those who care for her and loves being the center of attention. Like many dogs who have lacked structure, she will need training and guidance. Rita does not always control her emotions: when she is very joyful, excited, or sometimes jealous of the attention given to other dogs, she may bark or become agitated. Rita will therefore need a patient, consistent family, ready to offer her a reassuring framework to channel her energy and help her find her balance. She gets along well with dogs and cats, and remains a deeply gentle and endearing dog. Still very young, Rita is no more than two years old and has all the energy and intelligence typical of her breed. Accustomed to wide open spaces, she would be happiest in a calm environment, ideally in the countryside, with a family who is present and ready to devote time to her. Rita est une jeune Malinoise dont l’histoire bouleverse autant qu’elle inspire le respect. Lorsqu’elle a été retrouvée, Rita était dans un état de souffrance extrême. Sa patte était gravement blessée, presque sectionnée, et elle était couverte de sang. Elle avait vécu attachée et maltraitée, privée de liberté et de repères. Pour lui sauver la vie, une décision difficile mais nécessaire a dû être prise : l’amputation de sa patte. Mais Rita n’a jamais laissé cette épreuve définir qui elle est. Aujourd’hui, cette jeune chienne pleine de vie court, joue et profite de chaque instant avec une énergie incroyable. Malgré ses trois pattes, elle se déplace avec agilité et légèreté, et court très bien. Rita est une Malinoise très attachée à l’humain. Après ce qu’elle a vécu, elle développe facilement un lien fort avec les personnes qui prennent soin d’elle et aime être au centre de l’attention. Comme beaucoup de chiens ayant manqué de repères, elle aura besoin d’éducation et de cadrage. Rita ne contrôle pas toujours ses émotions : lorsqu’elle est très joyeuse, excitée ou parfois jalouse de l’attention portée à d’autres chiens, elle peut se mettre à aboyer ou s’agiter. Rita aura donc besoin d’une famille patiente, cohérente et prête à lui offrir un cadre rassurant, afin de canaliser son énergie et l’aider à trouver son équilibre. Elle s’entend bien avec les chiens et les chats, et reste une chienne profondément gentille et attachante. Encore très jeune, Rita n’a pas plus de deux ans et possède toute l’énergie et l’intelligence propres à sa race. Habituée aux grands espaces, elle serait plus épanouie dans un environnement calme, idéalement à la campagne, auprès d’une famille présente et prête à lui consacrer du temps. Rita est une chienne courageuse et sensible.
