Name: Rita Gender: female Birthdate: 11/25 Height: medium An elderly man visited our animal rescuer on the first day of Christmas and told her that for several days now he’d been hearing dogs barking loudly behind his garden. However, since he has difficulty walking, he hadn’t been able to walk all the way to the end of his garden to take a closer look. The garden borders a small stream. When our animal rescuer arrived at the scene, she found the mother dog sitting there with several puppies. On the bank of the stream, there were also three dead puppies. She walked along the stream carrying food and a transport box, while her husband waited in the man’s garden with a large crate. First, she placed the mother dog into the crate—this went smoothly without any problems. Then, the puppies came to her one by one, and she was able to pick them up individually and pass them over the fence to her husband. They are now staying at our animal rescuer’s home. The mother is very sweet and clearly accustomed to humans. Most likely, she was abandoned because she became pregnant 😞 The little ones can be rehomed at the end of March—they’ll be old enough then, have received all necessary vaccinations, and have been microchipped. They will also be regularly dewormed and treated against parasites.

Name: Rita Geschlecht: weiblich Geb: 11/25 Größe: mittel Ein älterer Mann kam am ersten Weihnachtsfeiertag bei unserer Tierschützerin vorbei und erzählte, er höre seit einigen Tagen Hundegeheul hinter seinem Garten. Da er aber schlecht zu Fuß ist, konnte er nicht bis zum Ende seines Gartens gehen, um nachzusehen. Der Garten grenzt an einen Bach. Als unsere Tierschützerin dort ankam, sah sie die Mutterhündin mit einigen Welpen sitzen. Am Bachufer lagen außerdem drei tote Welpen. Sie ging mit Futter und einer Transportbox zum Bach entlang, während ihr Mann mit einer großen Box im Garten des Mannes wartete. Sie setzte zuerst die Mutterhündin in die Box, was problemlos klappte. Danach kamen die Welpen zu ihr, und sie konnte sie einzeln hochheben und ihrem Mann über den Zaun geben. Sie sind jetzt bei unserer Tierschützerin Zuhause. Die Mutter ist sehr lieb und offensichtlich Menschen gewöhnt. Wahrscheinlich hat man sie ausgesetzt weil sie schwanger wurde 😞 Die kleinen können Ende März ausreisen, dann sind sie alt genug, haben alle nötigen Impfungen und wurden gechipt. Sie werden regelmäßig entwurmt und gegen Ungeziefer behandelt.
