Rita is a very cuddly, playful dog who becomes deeply attached to humans once she trusts them. A family with knowledge of canine behavior would be an asset; moreover, professional guidance is strongly recommended from the very beginning of the adoption. She’s not used to long walks and may freeze up if they become too stressful for her. While following other dogs can motivate her, she might have difficulty with direct contact. Given her sensitive temperament, a family without children and without other pets—someone with plenty of time, patience, and love—would be the ideal home for this little emotional sponge.

Rita est une chienne très câline, joueuse et très attachée à l’humain une fois qu’elle a confiance. Une famille possédant des connaissances en comportement canin serait un atout ; de plus, un accompagnement par un professionnel est chaudement recommandé dès le début de l’adoption. Elle n’a pas forcément l’habitude des longues promenades et peut se bloquer si cela la stresse trop, mais une fois en confiance elle apprécie grandement les promenades. Si suivre d’autres chiens peut la motiver, elle peut cependant avoir du mal avec un contact direct. Avec son tempérament sensible, une famille sans enfants et sans autres animaux, dotée de temps, de patience et d’amour, serait le foyer idéal pour cette petite éponge émotionnelle.
