Olyan gazdira van szüksége, aki türelmes, nyugodt és hagy neki időt arra, hogy a saját tempójában oldódjon fel. Ha biztonságban érzi magát, szépen nyitni kezd és egyre jobban megmutatja kedves oldalát. Nem domináns kutya, más kutyákkal jól kijön, társaságuk sokszor segíti is abban, hogy magabiztosabb legyen.
