Robyn

Mixed Breed Β· Unknown Β· Puppy Β· 4 months

Some dogs experience more hardship in their first years than any dog ever should. Yet somehow, they still choose to trust, love, and give their whole hearts. Robyn is one of those dogs. When Robyn was found as a puppy in Cyprus, he had a fractured paw and was placed into a shelter. Sadly, the injury was not treated correctly and by the time Broken for Bliss rescue stepped in and got him the veterinary care he desperately needed, it was too late to save his paw. The difficult decision was made to amputate his leg in order to end his pain and give him the chance of a happy, healthy future. And what a future he's determined to have. Despite everything he has been through, Robyn is a happy, affectionate boy who loves life and doesn't let having three legs hold him back. He enjoys running around secure dog fields, playing with toys and balls, splashing in rivers, and curling up on the sofa for cuddles with his people. Now living in foster care in Diss, Norfolk, Robyn's foster family describe him as such a good boy and believe he would be happiest in a home with another friendly dog for companionship. About Robyn

What life with Robyn looks like

Robyn is a puppy mixed breed dog waiting at Help4Dogs in United Kingdom.

Puppies need routine, gentle socialization, and roughly two short outings a day for the first year. The first six months are the formative window β€” house-training, leash work, and quiet exposure to traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar people happen now or not at all. Expect early-morning wake-ups and a few months of chewing.

πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§Adopting from United Kingdom

UK shelters work under the Pet Travel Scheme (post-Brexit, the EU pet passport is not valid; a UK Animal Health Certificate is required for travel into the EU). Most UK rescues focus on domestic placements but some work with EU partners.

Frequently asked

Adopting Robyn, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Robyn?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Help4Dogs handles screening and the adoption contract directly β€” TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Robyn on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Robyn if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad β€” Help4Dogs will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. UK adopters: post-Brexit travel into the EU requires an Animal Health Certificate. Transport is usually a separate cost, so ask for the exact figure before you commit.
Is Robyn already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported β€” ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Robyn isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work β€” that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Help4Dogs early rather than rehoming privately; they know Robyn and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect β€” names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
