Meet Rocco. A Gentle Soul Just Waiting for the Right Connection Rocco came to the refugee after his previous owner could no longer care for him due to a change in circumstances. Having lived in a home, he's already familiar with family life and home routes. Rocco is a truly wonderful dog, though he doesn't always stand out in the kennel environment. At first, he may bar and retreat when approached, not out of aggression, but simply because he gets nervous. With a little patience and time, you'll quickly discover his affect, social nature. He shares his kennel peacefully with other dogs, walks well on the lead, and absolutely loves his walks. Rocco listens well, responds to commands, and is best to please, making him highly trailer. One of Rocco's favorite things in the world is playing fitch. He'll happily take a ball for as long as you're willing to throw it! Outside the kennel, whether on a walk or playing in the park, his true personality begins to shine, revealing a playful, loving, and loyal company. Rocco would throw in a calm, understanding home with someone who's willing to give him a little time to settle and trust. Once he does, he'll back you with loyalty, playfulness, and a whole lot of love. He's lived in a house before, and we're confident he'll adapt quickly to home life again.
