Hello! My name is Rocky, and I am three years old.When I first arrived at the centre, I was quite a shy boy, but I am getting braver every day and enjoying making friends with the staff caring for me. I am very friendly and I love some scratches, however, I can spook easy, so I would like a nice calm, quiet home to settle into while I get used to everything.I love nothing more than to be up high sunbathing in my basket here at the rescue. I spend a lot of my day outside watching the world and enjoying some chill time. I will come inside to eat but do prefer to be outside, so would like somewhere where I can go out and explore when I am ready.I came from a house with lots of other cats, and I am honestly enjoying the time and space all for me! The staff here kindly tested me with another cat who I did share my old home with just to see if we could stay friends. However, I was a bit standoffish with her and wandered off whenever she tried to be cuddly. (Sorry Grace, I just think it’s time I had my own space!)The staff say they are proud of me as I am getting braver each day (treats help!) I venture a bit further around the cattery each day and I feel like a different cat to the one who first arrived, getting confident and ready for my next adventure.I am a clever boy in that I can use a litter tray and a cat flap, no problem. I am looking for a home as the only pet for now. However, I could live with cat savvy children aged 11+.
