Animal shelter Tanamera: Update April 9, 2026: Ro (her nickname) has been with volunteer Diana in the shelter for a few weeks now. It's really going well. She adapts well, likes the other dogs, and also the cats. However, the cats don't always like her, because Ro is a bouncy ball and considers hunting cats a fun game. But with a confident cat it goes well. With shy cats, however, it's not a good idea. We think the photos speak for themselves. Ro is a straightforward energetic pup, and we only expect good things from her! 8 new photos added. Input March 5, 2026: Rogan was rescued with her family from a rabbit hole! Her mother Valentina (14kg) had given birth to 5 puppies there. We had been following this litter when she was pregnant, but we only got her in our trap after she had given birth. Because we didn't know where the pups were, the mother was released again with a tracker. And so we followed her to a field with rabbit holes. Eventually, we dug up the puppies and took them. They were already 3 weeks old. Despite never having been outside or seen a human before, they adapted quickly. They became social quickly, and are healthy. Rogan is the smallest in the litter. When we pulled her out of the hole, they handed her to us with the words "another runt". So we named her Rogan Josh. Only after a week did we discover that she is a female! But she is the smallest, and very tough, so she remains Rogan here. She is independent, extremely fast, and likes to play. Rogan can travel from May, when she has all her vaccines and an individual passport.

Asiel Tanamera: Update 09 april 2026: Ro (haar roepnaam) is al een paar weken bij vrijwilligster Diana in de opvang. Het gaat echt prima. Ze past zich goed aan, is gek op de andere honden, en ook op de katten. De katten vinden haar echter niet altijd leuk, want Ro is een stuiterbal en vind katten jagen nog een leuk spelletje. Maar met een zelfverzekerde kat gaat het prima. Met angstige katten daarentegen is geen goed idee. De foto's spreken voor zich denken we. Ro is een ongecompliceerde energieke pup waarvan wij alleen maar goeds verwachten! 8 Nieuwe foto's toegevoegd. Input 05 maart 2026: Rogan werd gered met haar familie uit een konijnenhol! Haar mama Valentina (14kg) had daar 5 puppies gekregen. We volgden deze podenca al toen ze zwanger was, maar kregen haar pas in onze val nadat ze bevallen was. Omdat we niet wisten waar de pups waren, is moeders daarna weer losgelaten met tracker. En zo volgden we haar naar een veld met konijnenholen. Uiteindelijk hebben we daar de puppies uitgegraven en meegenomen. Ze waren toen al 3 weken oud.Ondanks dat ze nog nooit buiten geweest waren, of een mens hadden gezien, pasten ze zich snel aan. Ze werden snel sociaal, en zijn gezond.Rogan is de kleinste uit het nest. Bij het uitgraven uit het hol werd ze aan ons aangereikt met de woorden.. nóg een reutje. Dus noemden we haar Rogan Josh. Pas na een week ontdekten we dat ze een teefje is! Maar ze is de kleinste, en best stoer, dus blijft ze gewoon Rogan hier. Ze is zelfstandig, razend snel en speelt graag. Rogan kan reizen vanaf mei, wanneer ze al haar vaccins heeft gehad en en een eigen paspoortje heeft.
