ROS2339

Mixed Breed · Unknown · Adult · 4 years

Lily is a large, beautiful tabby girl, aged approximately 3–4 years. She is neutered, litter trained, and a big sturdy lady with a wonderful nature — though she can be an absolute diva! Lily needs a special, adult-only home where she will be understood and loved exactly as she is. She enjoys being stroked and loves sitting on your lap… but only on her terms. She needs to be the only pet in the home. Lily does not like other cats, definitely does not like dogs, and she has no intention of sharing her food, her space, or her people. She is a bit of a madam, but in the very best way possible. Lily doesn’t like being dictated to, and if dinner is not served quickly enough, she may give your hand a little nip to hurry things along! Lily would suit an indoor/outdoor home where she can enjoy fuss on demand, freedom to explore, and the chance to go out and hunt. She is now waiting for the right human slave to adore her. Please be sure you can provide a stable, loving home for life. A Lifelong Commitment Why We Do Home Checks Home checks are a simple, supportive step in our adoption process. They’re not about judging your home — they’re about making sure every rescue pet is placed safely and set up for a happy life. What a Home Check Does Confirms the home and garden are safe and secure- Helps us match the right animal to the right environment- Allows us to offer advice for settling your new pet in- Ensures every adoption is a lifelong, stable placement. A home check is the final step in giving a rescue animal the safe, loving future they deserve. Together, we make sure their next home is truly their forever home. It will be necessary for us to conduct a home visit in order to ensure that our cats and kittens are being rehomed in suitable environments. It will also give you the chance to ask questions.

About ROS2339

What life with ROS2339 looks like

ROS2339 is a large adult mixed breed dog waiting at Roscommon National CAT ADOPTION in Co. Roscommon.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. A larger dog like this one needs daily off-leash time when possible — a fenced yard or regular access to safe walking trails. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇮🇪Adopting from Ireland

Irish shelters require a home check (often phone or video) and an adoption contract. Animals are vaccinated, chipped, and registered. Cross-border placements to mainland Europe require the rabies titer test (TRACES system).

Frequently asked

Adopting ROS2339, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about ROS2339?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Roscommon National CAT ADOPTION handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw ROS2339 on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt ROS2339 if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Roscommon National CAT ADOPTION will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is ROS2339 already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if ROS2339 isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Roscommon National CAT ADOPTION early rather than rehoming privately; they know ROS2339 and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (EN). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
