At the shelter, Rosa doesn’t always put her best foot forward. Behind the bars, she can seem imposing—almost a bit rough in her demeanor. She barks, she gets agitated. But in reality? She’s actually a big softie who needs to see that people mean well. Rosa doesn’t give her trust in five seconds flat. She observes, she tests things out a bit—and only when she’s convinced that everything is okay, that the human on the other side is gentle and respectful, well then, the real treasure emerges. And what a treasure she is! A joyful, tender, incredibly endearing dog who loves learning and expending her energy. On the shelter’s agility course, she becomes a little champion, utterly focused and bursting with pride whenever she nails an exercise. She adores sharing moments with people, being stimulated, and being appreciated. She’s looking for a home without cats, and as for canine companions, it’ll be decided on a case-by-case basis—Rosa likes to choose her housemates herself; nothing could be more natural.

Rosa, au refuge, ne fait pas toujours sa meilleure pub. Derrière les grilles, elle peut paraître impressionnante, un peu brute dans sa façon de se présenter. Elle aboie, elle s’agite. Mais en réalité ? C’est surtout une grande sensible qui a besoin qu’on lui montre patte blanche. Rosa ne donne pas sa confiance en cinq secondes chrono. Elle observe, elle teste un peu et quand elle comprend que tout va bien, que l’humain en face est doux et respectueux, alors là, le vrai trésor apparaît. Et quel trésor. Une chienne joyeuse, tendre, ultra attachante, qui adore apprendre et se dépenser. Sur le terrain d’agility du refuge, elle devient une petite championne appliquée, fière comme tout quand elle réussit un exercice. Elle adore qu’on partage des moments avec elle, qu’on la stimule, qu’on la valorise. Elle recherche un foyer sans chats, et les copains chiens ce sera au cas par cas, Rosa aime choisir ses colocataires, rien de plus normal
