I recently moved to a shelter and attended a seminar in Estonia to learn how to find responsible owners. Then, Deli.lt wrote an article about me! And then, they filmed me showing what a great invitation I demonstrated. What exactly? Vat and nothing! I didn't receive a single home offer, so I still have to keep trying until I'm noticed by a suitable person. Five years ago, I was found and taken to a middle street, where I was drenched in tears and still had tears from fear in my eyes, between passing cars. I won a lottery and went to the builder's temporary shed until I found a home. I found. Everyone thought I would find a nice home with two responsible guardians. And indeed - they tried, they led me to classes, I'm currently in the first grade class program, but they never showed me how to behave in the city. For a while, I lived like that - at home, a nice puppy, outside - a foster. Then, at home, a small director arrived, and somehow time decreased for me. Where I was, where I wasn't, smaller directors arrived, and they allowed me to spend more time with the elderly, but they kept me isolated from everyone and only called me to the field. The fact is, I became completely antisocial and with the opportunity to run, I ran into the world with all my might. I became a tough puppy. Who wouldn't take me? After five years of living at the home, I returned to the shelter and I'm happy. Here, I not only got the chance to inherit an euro account and move to Estonia, but also every two weeks, they lead me to a search training, where I receive physical and mental activities, I drive to the sea, I walk in the woods, and I demonstrate how a nice puppy can be, as long as I'm properly trained. This is how I understand it, I don't need people who think a puppy should only be obedient and nothing else. I need people who understand that a small puppy can live in a big home and be happy only if they have activities with their guardian. My biggest wish is to get guardians who would be willing to engage in some puppy sports. I'm in good shape. I weigh around 10 kg, I'm light, and it would be easy to travel with me. P.S.: I really, really love driving a car, driving it doesn't bother me, and I managed to travel to Estonia in 7 hours as my travel buddies. There were no issues. So, I would be a good travel companion. I also need kind and understanding people who can help when I realize that the person running towards us is a threat. In Estonia, I lived with a merino sheep for 4 days, and through them, I made one mistake when a large group of men entered an unexpected restaurant. Of course, they watched me and teased me, saying I could easily be redirected. I felt the same. In words, I could have talked about myself, but it would have been better to meet and confirm it ourselves.

Nei VIENO namų pasiūlymo aš negavau, todėl tenka ir toliau man jums vaidentis kol būsiu pastebėtas tinkamo žmogaus. Man irgi taip atrodo. ____________________________________

About Rosas

What life with Rosas looks like

Rosas is a large adult mixed breed dog waiting at Linksmosios pėdutės in Lithuania.

An adult dog fits most household rhythms once the first couple of weeks of adjustment pass. A larger dog like this one needs daily off-leash time when possible — a fenced yard or regular access to safe walking trails. Plan a "decompression fortnight" — quiet routine, no visitors, no off-leash adventures — to let them settle.

🇱🇹Adopting from Lithuania

The shelter typically completes the animal's vaccinations, microchipping, and pet passport before adoption. Specific fees and process details vary by shelter and country — confirm directly via the contact details in the sidebar.

Frequently asked

Adopting Rosas, answered.

How do I contact the shelter about Rosas?
Use the phone, email, or website link in the sidebar of this page. Linksmosios pėdutės handles screening and the adoption contract directly — TailHarbor doesn't broker the conversation. When you reach out, mention you saw Rosas on TailHarbor so they know which animal you're asking about.
Can I adopt Rosas if I live in another country?
Yes, in most cases. Rescues across Europe routinely place animals abroad — Linksmosios pėdutės will tell you what they need (EU pet passport, rabies titer, transport coordination) and whether they handle transport themselves or refer you to a partner. Plan for an extra €100–€350 in transport costs depending on distance.
Is Rosas already vetted, vaccinated, and chipped?
Most dogs on TailHarbor leave their shelter with sterilization, current vaccinations, microchip ID, and an EU pet passport included in the adoption fee. The vet status on this page reflects what the shelter has reported — ask them directly if you need details on specific vaccines, recent bloodwork, or chronic conditions.
What happens if Rosas isn't the right fit?
Every reputable rescue accepts an animal back if the adoption genuinely doesn't work — that's part of the standard contract. Talk it through with Linksmosios pėdutės early rather than rehoming privately; they know Rosas and can place them more successfully than a second-hand listing can.
Why does the description sometimes read awkwardly?
TailHarbor translates shelter descriptions into English from the source language (LT). Translation is imperfect — names of streets, donors, and shelter-specific terms occasionally slip through unidiomatically. For the cleanest read, click the source link to see the shelter's original page.
