The somewhat older female cat Roxana has been waiting in the animal shelter for a long time for her chance at happiness. Sadly, no suitable home has been found for her yet, even though she deserves it so much. Roxana is one of the more shyly behaved feline furballs. She is initially cautious around unfamiliar people and prefers to keep a distance. However, those who take their time, show patience, and meet her with a calm, loving demeanor will soon notice that she is slowly warming up. She can now already be stroked a little while being fed – a big sign of trust that shows she is ready to take small steps toward closeness. Roxana gets along very well with other cats, making her a perfect candidate for a second cat. In the company of fellow animals, she feels safer and likes to orient herself by their behavior. A quiet home with cat-experienced people who give her time to settle in would be ideal for her.

Die schon etwas ältere Katzendame Roxana wartet nun schon seit langer Zeit im Tierheim auf ihr Glück. Bisher hat sich leider noch kein passendes Zuhause für sie gefunden, dabei hat sie es so sehr verdient, endlich ankommen zu dürfen. Roxana gehört zu den eher schüchternen Samtpfoten. Fremden Menschen gegenüber ist sie zunächst vorsichtig und hält lieber etwas Abstand. Doch wer sich Zeit nimmt, Geduld zeigt und ihr mit einem ruhigen, liebevollen Umgang begegnet, wird schnell merken, dass sie langsam auftaut. Beim Füttern lässt sich Roxana mittlerweile schon ein wenig streicheln – ein großer Vertrauensbeweis, der zeigt, dass sie bereit ist, kleine Schritte in Richtung Nähe zu wagen. Mit anderen Katzen versteht sich Roxana sehr gut, weshalb sie sich auch wunderbar als Zweitkatze eignet. In der Gesellschaft von Artgenossen fühlt sie sich sicherer und orientiert sich gern an ihnen. Ein ruhiges Zuhause mit katzenerfahrenen Menschen, die ihr Zeit zum Eingewöhnen geben, wäre ideal für sie.
