21.02.2025 Roxi left among the volunteers… _______________________________________________________________________________ Roxi is a unique soul who has been through a lot. She is a wonderful, calm dog who lived in a loving home for many years. Unfortunately, her beloved caretaker passed away, and Roxi found herself in a situation she does not understand. Her caregiver, who truly wanted to keep Roxi, made the decision to give her into our hands – for her good, so she could receive the necessary care he was no longer able to provide. Roxi suffers from several conditions, such as elbow dysplasia, spinal degeneration, and tail chaser syndrome. She takes pain medication, steroids, and hyaluronic acid, which allow her to enjoy daily life without pain. Recently, with the help of physical therapy, she has started to rediscover the joy of life. We are looking for a special home for Roxi – a quiet place where someone will surround her with love, tenderness, and understanding. She is an ideal companion for someone who values time spent napping together and a quiet presence filled with mutual support. During the flood alert period, Roxi was placed in a temporary home, where she quickly showed how devoted she is as a dog, never taking her eyes off the person and seeking their closeness. 21.02.2025r Roxi odeszła wśród wolontariuszy… _______________________________________________________________________________ Roxi to niezwykła dusza, która już wiele przeszła. Jest cudownym, spokojnym psem, który przez lata żył w kochającym domu. Niestety, jej ukochana opiekunka odeszła, a Roxi znalazła się w sytuacji, której sama nie rozumie. Jej opiekun, choć z całego serca chciałby zatrzymać Roxi, ze łzami w oczach podjął decyzję, by oddać ją w nasze ręce – dla jej dobra, by mogła otrzymać niezbędną opiekę, której on sam nie był już w stanie jej zapewnić. Roxi zmaga się z kilkoma dolegliwościami, jak dysplazja stawów łokciowych, zwyrodnienia kręgosłupa i zespół końskiego ogona. Przyjmuje leki przeciwbólowe, sterydy i kwas hialuronowy, dzięki którym może cieszyć się codziennością bez bólu. Ostatnio, przy wsparciu fizjoterapii, zaczyna na nowo odzyskiwać radość z życia. Szukamy dla Roxi wyjątkowego domu – spokojnego miejsca, w którym ktoś otoczy ją miłością, czułością i zrozumieniem. To idealna towarzyszka dla osoby ceniącej czas spędzony na wspólnych drzemkach i cichej obecności pełnej wzajemnego wsparcia. Na czas alarmu powodziowego Roxi trafiła do domu tymczasowego, gdzie szybko pokazała, jak oddanym jest psem, nie spuszczając wzroku z człowieka i szukając jego bliskości.
