Meet lovely Roxy, the Chihuahua who gives the softest cuddles! Roxy is a sensitive little lady who arrived at Battersea with her three siblings, but they unfortunately had to be separated. She can be a little worried by other dogs and didn't enjoy being pestered by them in her previous home. For now, she is looking to be the only dog in the home, but would benefit from having some calm and respectful doggy friends in the area to help build her confidence. Roxy is a real little lovebug. She can be shy when you first meet her, but quickly warms up and just wants all the cuddles. As she can be nervous at times, she would be best suited to living with teenagers who can give her space when she needs it. Busy London has been a lot for poor little Roxy, so she would prefer a quieter home away from the inner city. A private garden would be beneficial, although this isn't essential for her. Roxy is very tolerant of handling, although she isn't a fan of nail clippers. Her new owners will need to help her build positive associations with having her nails clipped and show her that they aren't as scary as she thinks! Roxy is looking for a family who will give her the time and patience she needs to build her confidence and come out of her shell. In return, she has plenty of cuddles and affection to give and will make a lovely companion.
